Delivery Terms and Pricing

Below are our standard terms for delivery. If you have any questions, please just ask, we'll be happy to help. In summary, delivery to most of the UK is free, with some exceptions and due to the latest EU laws, we no longer deliver to Northern Ireland or countries outside of the UK. We will deliver within 7 working days if your order is received by 12pm.**

Standard UK Delivery

Free delivery is standard to the majority of orders above £100*. For orders below £100, a £1.99 delivery charge will be applied.
Parcels are generally shipped by courier, and your confirmation email will include contact and tracking details for your shipment. In the first instance, please contact the courier for status of your delivery, but feel free to contact us as well.
Please note, delivery will require signature, or for alternative arrangements to be made with the courier, for example for goods to be left in a safe location.

Christmas Delivery

Please order on or before Friday 10th December for guaranteed Christmas Delivery***, orders placed after this time will not be delivered before the Christmas period.

We will be closed during the Christmas period, orders placed between 24th December and 3rd January 2022 will not be process until we reopen on January 4th 2022. 

Summary Charges and Exclusions

Standard Delivery

FREE for orders with a value of £100 or higher. A £1.99 delivery charge is applied to baskets below £100 total value.

Within 7 working days

Orders are processed as normal and shipped by DHL or courier service for larger parcels.

The warehouse can choose to upgrade the order to courier to meet delivery deadlines.

 Orders too large to be delivered by parcel couriers will be palletised. When placing an order you are accepting that it may arrive on a pallet where necessary.

It is the customers responsibility to off load the goods, and transport them to your premises, for larger orders a forklift may be required.

Excludes Northern Ireland.

Solo™ Circle 1200mm & Solo™ Square 1200mm FREE delivery on orders of 4 panels or more. For quantities 1-3 panels there is a £15 delivery fee.

*If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, delivery times may be extended, depending on where exactly you live. A surcharge of £4.99 will be applied to orders in these postcodes: In such cases, you will be contacted by our customer service team to confirm the delivery date. 

**Please note: delivery within 7 working days is only for stock held in our warehouse. If we need to order stock in to fulfil your order, it can take up to 7 - 8 weeks. If you have any questions about this at all email hello@thatsoundsbetter.co.uk. We will work alongside you to bring you your products as soon as possible.

***Guaranteed Christmas delivery is for stock held in our warehouse, orders placed for stock that requires ordering Christmas delivery is not guaranteed. 

Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses. Saint-Gobain Ecophon also strongly advises against deliveries to be made directly to construction sites or third party couriers.  Any orders made, to be sent to such locations or third party courier, are entirely at the risk of the client.  Therefore, we regret to inform, that Saint-Gobain Ecophon cannot accept any liability for orders that fail to arrive to construction sites or third party courier, or are damaged on receipt.  We will, however, do what we can to help in cases like these.

Working Days

A working day is defined as Monday - Friday.  Please note that weekends, bank and public holidays are excluded.

Issues with Delivery

If there are any issues with the goods you order, for example: If you have ordered more of a product than we have in stock, we will contact you to discuss the options. We may deliver the order in two parts as appropriate to your requirements.

Damages

All deliveries must be checked before being signed for.

If you notice any damages to the outer packaging at the time of delivery either: do not accept the package and request for this to be returned to us, or request to sign for as "Damaged". Once you have signed for the package you are accepting any damages that have occurred in-transit. For deliveries on a pallet you have the right to keep the driver for up to 10 minutes whilst you check your goods
